Grand Valley State is a Division II American football team that represents Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan. The team was established in 1974 and has since become one of the most successful programs in Division II football. The team plays its home games at Lubbers Stadium, which has a seating capacity of 10,444.

The Grand Valley State Lakers have won four national championships, in 2002, 2003, 2005, and 2006. They have also won 19 conference championships and have made 19 appearances in the NCAA Division II playoffs.
